Alcohol is a depressant substance, so although you may feel more upbeat when you drink, your brain cells are actually slowing down. You’ll notice that when you’re tipsy, your muscles are weakened, your vision is blurry, and your reaction time is slower, which is why drunk driving is so dangerous.
